Queen B’s Decree: Tessa Hale’s books are always a satisfying read.
I really enjoyed this conclusion to Wren’s story. The big magical finale was as enjoyable as expected, and I loved the fast pace of the plot (I just want the bad guys to lose, okay???).
But where her writing shines is the interpersonal relationships. Wren finally gets closer to our broody boy, Ender, and I loved seeing him let his walls down and become a simp for her. The entire pack really feels like a true family, and their support of each other is so heartwarming to see.
There’s a new character addition and I’m hoping that means his story is next. As always, I’ll read anything Tessa writes!
