Queen B’s Decree: This was a quick bingeworthy read. Brynn, a magic-less peasant through a series of events ends up bonded to a wolf shifter and participating in magic trials. If she wins, she and her entire family get gifted with magic.
I thought the political intrigue with talks of change and rebellion was pretty interesting, I was hooked to see how Brynn and her wolf, Kaelric would maneuver though the trials that were heavily against them.
Brynn is so grumpy and distrustful, but I can’t blame her with her upbringing and the world she lives in. And Kaelric is so protective, even when he appears to not want to be.
The twist at the end was so unexpected, and I’m so hooked and ready for the next in the series.
