Queen B’s Decree: This was such a cute and lighthearted read (despite some of the heavy topics).
I related to Penny so much—it can be so hard to ask for help and to feel the weight of the world on your shoulders. Which is why Ryder was perfect for her. He never pushed too far, was always just quietly there with his steadfastness.
Loved the side characters, and I can’t wait to see Ryder’s brothers all fall. My only issue was Ryder’s sister/Penny’s boss. I can understand her actions but that doesn’t excuse her of her bad behavior. And she never really apologized to Penny so YA I hold a grudge.
Lila Winters and Sebastian York really hit the spot for small town romance and made this a thoroughly enjoyable listen.
