This is a second chance trope, and boy, did this one hurt. So much angst, secrets, and time wasted apart. I felt like my emotions were constantly churning and unable to settle. It took Simone and Keir so long to finally communicate and open up, but I think Keir needed as much time as possible to get himself good.
Midnight Between Us felt almost too heavy for me, but I liked progressing the plot and learning more about the more mysterious brother. And now I’m so on board for the last book to come!
