Queen B’s Decree: We were left with a cliffhanger at the end of Crescent Kingdom, so I knew Eclipsed Empire would be a whirlwind of a book, immediately from page one.
Wren is thrown into a world of hurt and (most) of her men have to do some grovel to make it up to her. But I love that none of them downplay the hurt caused, and they openly apologize and put in the hard work to be better. It’s not easy and not all of the men are on the same pace, so it feels more realistic (as realistic as magic and wolf shifter fated mates can be, I suppose).
I cannot wait until all the guys finally fix it and we get the first ultra mega group scene, because what we’ve seen so far has been some simmering hot spicy spice—can’t wait til we can kick it up a notch.
Another cliffhanger that left me needing to reread the final chapter, I’ll be on tenterhooks until we get the next!
