Without spoiling too much, Aurelia has to navigate the political world as Empress while dealing with enemies and foes. And she does that best with the help of her princely men (Lorenzo, I love you).
I felt a rollercoaster of emotions while reading, and I worried about how it would end. We get a redemption arc, heartfelt relationships, loyal companions, some spicy why choose sex scenes, and an epilogue that wraps everything up neatly with a bow.
It’s been a long journey with everyone in Dariu and I’m sad to be saying goodbye to everyone. But I guess I’ll just have to wait patiently for Eva’s next series.
