Queen B’s Decree: This one was filled with a whole lot of banter. Lucian and Olivia definitely had black cat x golden retriever energy.
I enjoyed that so much of this book took place over texting. It was fun to see them bicker back and forth and slowly grow closer. I will say that I felt like Luc was too much at the beginning, he was a little pushy for me.
What I really loved was how sweet and supportive Luc was. After the initial push, he really moved at Olivia’s speed and let them slowly come together emotionally. Don’t worry, though, the spice was there and present throughout, even if it took them a bit longer emotionally.
And the dog, Sarah, was my favorite character. Hands down!
