Queen B’s Decree: Long Time Coming features Christine, who stayed in her home town to run the ranch after her mother passed. And Tagger, who left for the big apple and is only back in town for a few days so his son can visit Texas.
So much of the story was Christine pining for Tagger—it felt like her crush on him never went away. And like he didn’t really notice her as an adult until this very moment. And then ✨poof✨ chemistry happens when they are in the same region again. And their chemistry was good, no denying it. But their emotional connection felt lacking to me. So much of their relationship is them being apart, I was missing their “relationship development” stage.
Tagger’s son Beck was adorable and he was such a cute addition to the story. I wanted more with him, actually.
Overall, Long Time Coming was enjoyable…just a little long? But I’m interested to see how Christine’s brothers fare.
