Read. Reign. Repeat.

Conflicted Lies by T.L. Smith & Kia Carrington-Russell

Queen B’s Decree: I was so into this one. A cop and a daughter of a crime lord? Opposites attract, indeed.

I loved the bickering between Hope and Braxton. They are so explosive together, whether it’s when naked or clothed. Either way, the reader is bound to have a good time. I mean, can I ever resist a forbidden trope?

The plot really adds to the enjoyment of the story here, I was hooked on the serial killer aspect with wondering who it could be. I had no preconceived notions and yet I was still surprised by the reveal at the end—in a satisfying, happy way.

I can’t wait for more in this series, I’m firmly hooked.
