Queen B’s Decree: Okay, so I looked back at my review from book one and the thing that stood out to me was that I wrote “Soren is kind of a dick.” In Reborn, he takes that energy and entirely funnels it into his obsession for Jane.
Excellent.
In the previous book, he was obsessed with learning all of Jane’s secrets. Now, he wants every bit of her heart and soul. He won’t settle for less than all of her. And somehow that just makes him so swoony? I can’t get enough of him.
Reborn was full of action and suspense and the plot moves so quickly. The twists and turns keep coming and I felt like I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Emotional and angsty at times, I had to take a break at work so I didn’t start crying in the hospital hallways.
Such a great ending to the duology and I’m so ready for Bones to have a full book.
