Queen B’s Decree: When my book club decided to read a throwback, Twilight, I knew I’d have to read it as an audiobook and test it out.
I wondered if the story would hold up; would I still have the same nostalgic love.
I learned that I still enjoy this one. Edward is still the adorable little red flag that he is, but just a bit swoonier than he’s portrayed in the movie. And Bella…damn girl you’re 17 and on your first real date with a vampire but you want to get married? Although thinking about it, their red flags match.
I know the angst and shark jumping that’s coming up in the future books, so my listen may end here, but definitely enjoyed this as an audiobook. I only wish this had duet narration, that would have been epic.
