Queen B’s Decree: Heartless is full of tropes: age gap, grumpy/sunshine, single dad, small town, cowboys, boss/nanny. Cade was a grump to the extreme, and Willa is free spirit, who never takes things too seriously. Luke is Cade’s adorable son, and he really stole the show.
I’m finding that I don’t have too much to say about this one. It was fun, sexy, and an enjoyable read. But it’s not a stand out, it’s not memorable, and I definitely got annoyed with both MMC and FMC at times. The ending was cute and heartwarming, and that really saved it for me.
Maybe my expectations were too high after all the hype. Regardless, I still liked it—just not as much as I wish I did.
