Read. Reign. Repeat.

Artificial Wisdom by Thomas R. Weaver

Queen B’s Decree: Artificial Wisdom is essentially a dystopian mystery, primarily focused on climate change. It’s a really intriguing premise: the future of the world is uncertain after the effects of climate change, and an AI has been created to save us. But at what cost?

I was sucked in. So much of what was happening to Tully and October in the future is relevant to what is occurring today. The emergence of AI—art, writing, narration—replacing humans, political extremists, climate change deniers, and social media used to manipulate. It felt like a story of warning, where the world could go.

But at the same time, it didn’t feel preachy. The mystery seemed simple at first, but layers and layers kept unfolding. And so much character growth! Tully, Livia, and October were all interesting and realistic characters with flaws and I couldn’t help but root for them.

Overall, Artificial Wisdom was an enthralling read. I only wish there was more—the ending felt a little rushed and left me with more questions. I’ll definitely be looking for more from this author!
