Feral is the Beast by Nisha J. Tuli

Queen B’s Decree: I love when a Hero tries to be all evil and mean and just can’t help himself and does sweet things for his prisoner/captive.

Ves is a bad ass witch that claims she could kill everyone in the castle (post-capture, of course), but she is secretly a marshmallow. The Feral King has her kidnapped (and mildly tortured) in order to secure her compliance in helping him deal with his curse. But he’s not really that evil…just a little feral when the beast comes out.

I liked the interactions between them, the back and forth was entertaining. As this was a novella, there is a lack of real character development and it felt a bit insta-lusty, insta-lovey. But I still loved them together; Ferren was the kind of feral beast (see what I did there👀) that really just wants to take care of and love his woman and Ves is like a flower in bloom when he does.

Feral is the Beast was a short and spicy novella and overall, I’d love some more.
