Queen B’s Decree: Nobody’s Darlin’ is Sarah’s foray into the MC world and I hope she stays awhile. While this is darker than most of her other OV reads, I still wouldn’t categorize this as a dark romance. It’s just a little gray.
I felt like we got a perfect mixture of action/plot and omegaverse smut. MC politics mixed with the formation of Lily’s pack; the long adoring beta Axel, the emo, estranged step-brother Tate, and the newcomer “I hate everyone but you” Cash. Each of the men had a pivotal role in Lily’s heart, and it never felt like one was more important or elevated over the others. It really was a fantastic use of my favorite trope, found family.
Lily is a great character that has her eyes totally open, and accepts the broken and obsessive nature of all of her men. I love all her men for different reasons. But once again, the beta, Axel, is my favorite one. Why are the crazy ones the ones I can’t resist? Making a note to ask my therapist.
Another great release from Sarah Blue. I swear she gets better and better with each book. Every time I think she’s peaked…she proves me wrong and gives me another favorite book.
