Read. Reign. Repeat.

Icebreaker by Hannah Grace

Queen B’s Decree: When my new book club and I met, we looked through top “book Tok books” to find our first read. Icebreaker was on the list and I already owned it so I was pretty excited that I would finally read a book I own.

But…it was not to be. Neither main character is particularly likable and the enemies-to-lovers progression just didn’t make sense. Anastasia is all butthurt that they have to share an ice skating rink…yet Nate isn’t the one that caused the damage. Then throw in some instalust and that’s basically as far as I got.

I reached a point where I was so disgusted by their disrespectful actions towards both their friends and their uber driver that I just quit.

Shout out to Henry for being an awesome side character who I may be willing to read his book once it releases. *Maybe*

But hey….cross that off the physical TBR.

  1. I put this on my KU list just before it left KU, but haven’t read it yet. Your review mirrors almost exactly what another friend told me she felt about it – part of why I haven’t yet started it.
