So when one of them may have killed their not-a-good-guy boss, she’ll do whatever she can to protect them.
I was enthralled. I loved how Charlie’s mind worked. There were plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes, ones I never expected. I couldn’t stop myself from “one more chapter” until all the secrets were revealed.
This was my first read by Wendy Walker but hopefully not my last.
