Queen B’s Decree: Weyward was our book club’s choice for this month, and it was definitely a new-to-me author.
I struggled with the plot. Essentially three women (in alternate timelines) are all considered “weyward,” where they are maybe witches? With an affinity for nature, birds, bugs, etc. But also they are all abused. Before I quit reading at ~30%, nearly every male character introduced was a terrible human being, or abusive, or misogynistic.
And I don’t know how I’ve chanced upon a few books with this same “anti-men” theme, but I just don’t like it. So I tried but no thanks.
