Queen B’s Decree: Ahhhh yesssss. Wildcard gives me that obsessive Cambria Hebert hero that I love. Rush meets Landry and sparks fly immediately. And even though he later think he should keep his distance…he can’t resist.
Is it a bit instalovey and unrealistic? Yes, but you won’t see me complaining! I want to read about a hero and heroine that fall head over heels for each other. Their friend group was fantastic, and I loved how they all supported each other and came together.
And the action and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put down Wildcard, it kept me so invested and intrigued in the storyline. The heat between Rush and Landry was spicy, but I loved that consent and safety was at the forefront each time.
Wildcard was a satisfying and entertaining read and I can’t wait for the next in the series.
