In Dark Reign, Emerson is called The Collector and is a dark, broody art collector who becomes immediately enamored of innocent artist, Daphne Morelli.
Daphne is a daughter of an infamous crime family and just wants to skate by unnoticed and create her art. I love that her character was strong and resilient. She’s not without trauma, being a Morelli means she didn’t grow up unscathed, but she retains her sweetness and ability to love.
Dark Reign ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see how this will play out. The relationship between Emerson and Daphne is strange and obsessive and mysterious and I’m still uncertain how it will all go.
