Queen B’s Decree: I love a reverse age gap and Lady Boss did wonderful at it. Our heroine, Penelope, is 12 years older than Kai and used to be his babysitter when she was in high school. He’s now graduated college and worked as her intern—so there’s extra taboo. Boss/employee and age gap. Give all the taboo to me. ALL OF IT.
Kai was so obsessed with Penelope, in a way I’m both impressed with and horrified by. He’s not going to let *literally* anything get in the way of them being together, and I just gotta love someone so invested in the relationship.
Sexy, hot, with good character development and backstory, Lady Boss was another new favorite from this series.
