Vengeance of a Mafia Queen by Siobhan Davis

Queen B’s Decree: I love a strong heroine. I love that we got a twist, and instead of an anti-Hero, we get a morally grey anti-Heroine. Caterina has been through a lot in her life and has spent most of it working towards vengeance towards those who wronged her. But Massimo wasn’t part of her plans….

Their connection is intense. The chemistry and sparks between them was immediate and could not be denied. I loved their banter—although it was a bit like bickering in the beginning. The best thing in Vengeance of a Mafia Queen was watching Massimo fall hard for his queen, and slowly breaking down Rina’s emotional walls.

My only slight complaint is probably more situational, but does everything terrible and tragic have to happen to the heroines in this mafia world? Maybe I need a break from dark romance for a bit…

Regardless, Siobhan Davis is the queen of emotional angst and she gets me every time.
