Read. Reign. Repeat.

The Best Men by Sarina Bowen and Lauren Blakely

Queen B’s Decree: Every time I read something written by Sarina Bowen, I remember why I love her so much. The Best Men was unbelievably good.

We start off the morning after some embarrassing drunk texting to Mark’s sister, her soon-to-be groom, and his gay best man (that he can’t stop lusting after). After apologizing, his sister Hannah asks him to be her best man, Mark and Asher are forced to spend time together prepping for the destination wedding.

The connection between Mark and Asher is electric. They fell into a mutual entanglement that quickly turns into more. On the surface, Asher is a rich playboy, trying to focus on his photography. But the more we get to know him, the more we see his sweet and delicate heart and how lonely he’s been.

Mark is a recently divorced single dad who has spent the last year of his life focusing on his daughter. It’s not until he meets Asher that he is able to adjust his priorities and put himself first. Their relationship was swoon worthy and adorable, and they seemed to fit together so perfectly. Sexy and steamy, The Best Men was a fun and fantastic read.
