Feuds and Reckless Fury by K Webster

Queen B’s Decree: Feuds and Reckless Fury starts as a story of revenge. Canyon is dealing with the fallout after his father leaves his mother by announcing he’s in love with his long time male best friend. Canyon wants to hurt his father the way he’s been hurt, so he focuses his rage on his future stepbrother.

But Alis isn’t meek or passive and fights back. Both are constantly scheming to out-do the other. The whole time they are scheming their attraction to each other is growing, until they can no longer ignore it. And this is what I love about K Webster’s bully romances or enemies-to-lovers tropes. No one can withstand the pull and soon enough the sweet redemption happens.

The chemistry between the boys is sizzling. Together they are swoony and adorable. The forbidden aspect just turned up the heat even more.

My only criticism is how their fathers behaved. How clueless can you be? Did they really think the kids would have no trauma or issues with how they came to be together? Terrible parenting.

There were some crazy twists and turns that were totally unexpected. It almost felt over the top but who am I kidding? I loved it. Another great five star read from K Webster.
