Queen B’s Decree: Not the End is a short little novella that doesn’t hesitate to delve into some deep issues. I went into this expecting a light and fluffy read.
Narrator: It was not light nor fluffy.
Dimah’s story unfolds alternating with the past few months and her present. This is not a story for the feint of heart – it deals with betrayal, heart break, bullying, depression, etc. Gabriela Gianna did a great job writing a compelling story. I felt fully invested in the characters and their future.
And yet, so much felt cliched. I felt like I’d read a similar plot line a million times before. A worthy effort, and I look forward to trying this author again.
