Read. Reign. Repeat.

Digging a Hole by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Queen B’s Decree: I was highly anticipating the third in this series, since I had quickly devoured the first two. Mimi Jean’s keyboard must be sprinkled with crack and her writing is addictive; I can’t get enough of it. Her characters are always funny and the plot lines are always ridiculous in a way you wouldn’t think would work…but it does.

Digging a Hole starts off with some hate between our main characters, Sydney and Nick. I loved their snips and sassy quips. This lasts the first half or so of the book, and you are rewarded with some satisfying insults. At the half way mark, the story goes whoa and it felt like a roller coaster of emotions from there on. Literally a whirlwind of obsessive reading came next.

I was thoroughly sucked in and couldn’t put it down. I stayed up past my bedtime (a true sign of book obsession, let me tell you) and finished it in one attempt.

Looking forward to more by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff!
