This book is the first in a series titled, “Biker Witches”. Seriously, how could anyone ever walk away from that kind of opportunity? This book was like spending the afternoon in a happy bubble of fun. I loved her sense of humor! Grandma Gertie and Pirate the dog are in the running for supporting characters of the year in my opinion. I now want a Grandma who rides a Harley and a motormouth puppy who can’t pee under pressure.
The story was strong, the pacing good, filled with unique spins on the standard paranormal ideas. Oh and the humor is off the charts. Overall light on romance, but what was there was good. I enjoyed getting to focus on Lizzie and how she developed. I think making the story about Lizzie instead of Lizzie and Dimitri as a couple was a strength to the overall story. So thanks to this great introduction to the world of Angie Fox, I will definitely be looking into the rest of the Biker Witches saga and I am also 100% convinced that there are Mexican food craving spells loose in my apartment.
