Queen B’s Decree: Don’t be fooled by the sweet illustrated cover and mild-mannered blurb: Instructions for Dancing is not a light story.
Despite the fact that I was in tears by the end of the story, Instruction for Dancing is still an enjoyable read. I related to Evie; hiding your emotions for fear of getting hurt. But X was worth letting down her walls. He was wonderful.
I do wish her dad had more of a grovel moment, but that’s the revenge-monster in me.
I won’t be fooled by Nicola Yoon again. I’ll be prepared for SAD.
