Read. Reign. Repeat.

Love Like Her by Claudia Burgoa

Queen B’s Decree: Love Like Her felt like it was full of the “what if.” Eros and Olivia initially meet during a blizzard where Liv is stranded at the airport, and Eros has a white knight complex compelling him to stay and help her. Despite them being strangers, they spend an intensely few days together before going their separate ways.

The next few years is more of the same. They run into each other and each time they again spend some intense time together…but their lives are going in different directions and they leave it as is.

But their friendship starts to grow. Eros and Liv both are a little bit like ostriches, burying their heads in the sand and ignoring what was obvious to the reader. It was clear they were made for each other. Their time spent together may have been short, but it was deep and emotionally fulfilling. Both are so supportive of each other, and it almost feels like they have been in a long distance relationship…they just won’t admit that their feelings are deeper.

The major conflict between them seemed so minor, and I was glad that they finally communicated and quickly resolved it.

Love Like Her was both fun and light while still full of heartbreaking situations and angst. It was my favorite of this series by far and it was a wonderfully satisfying end to the Brassard siblings.
