Queen B’s Decree: This was a light and easy read. I kind of love the “couple stuck in an elevator gets it on” trope, and Shaft did it well. I do have to admit, there were some outstandingly cliched moments (Nate being a manwhore, Allie not knowing she was beautiful) but it was still an enjoyable read.
I do have one major criticism. The ending was so abrupt. One page I’m reading, wondering what will happen next. And then it was over.
I feel a lack of closure; it feels incomplete.
Shaft had so much potential to be a great start to a series. The sex scenes were well written and good dialogue between our Hero and Heroine. It was enough to keep me interested in following Krista Gold for more!
