Queen B’s Decree: This was a doozy. I had already read the first in the series, A Single Glance, so I was familiar with the characters. When I first read A Single Glance, I wasn’t aware that a trilogy was planned, so was disappointed by the cliffhanger.
Now I know Willow Winters’ MO so if there isn’t a heart crushing cliffhanger, I’m shocked.
The Irresistible Attraction continues with A Single Kiss and A Single Touch. The stories flow well together, making it easy to continue reading. Both Bethany and Jase show great character progression throughout the further books, showing some emotional depth.
The heat of these novels is off the charts hot, and Bethany and Jase have incredible chemistry together.
But overall I felt a little let down. And I think that has to do with the secrets Jase keeps. In the end Bethany feels seems weak, like a doormat just accepting the scraps that Jase will give her.
A good read, but not my favorite Willow Winters duo.
