Queen B’s Decree: I don’t know what it is about a survivalist or wilderness expert, but put those characters in a story and I will pay you money. In [amazon text=Northland&asin=B00XJZ6LV0], we have our lovable grump Kyle – our Alaskan Bush man, and Logan – our single father city boy.
Sidenote: there is an early scene (12%) that nearly turned me off from this story. Keep going – it’s worth it.
Northland was a great hate/love story that evolved into so much more. Cara Dee did a great job turning sexual tension/compatibility into love and family. I’m not normally one for kids in a story, but both Justin and Lani worked well and didn’t overshadow the story.
Overall, a cute and sweet story.
