How the Heart Breaks ran through the gamut of emotions; I cried, I laughed, I swooned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emery and Mason have an instant connection, despite the fact that he&#8217;s a 19 year-old boy in high school and Emery is over a decade older&#8230;and her niece has a crush on him. Yeah, you read that right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is so much push and pull between them, and even though Emery annoyed me at times because of it\u2014I totally understood her hesitations. It must be so heartbreaking to feel like you are cheating on your dead spouse while feeling such an overwhelming sense of rightness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I binge read this in an entire afternoon and I just couldn&#8217;t put it down.
