There were so many suspects; Emily was part of a pretty terrible friend group, and any of them could have committed her murder. As each chapter passes, more and more information begins to trickle out keeping me on the edge of my seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hadn&#8217;t realized this was a second in a series, and initially I felt like I was missing a whole lot of information. I soon became invested in the current story and felt the previous missing information was superfluous and didn&#8217;t affect my entertainment level. The current day&#8217;s side characters were so interesting, I wish Catfish got his own book. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Girl, Forgotten was another thrilling read from Karin Slaughter that kept me hooked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Book:<\/strong> Girl, Forgotten by Karin Slaughter<br><strong>Series:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/series\/339334-andrea-oliver\">Andrea Oliver #2<\/a><br><strong>Genre:<\/strong> Thriller<br><strong>Hotness:<\/strong> no salsa<br><strong>Plot Devices\/Tropes:<\/strong> flashbacks<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Queen B&#8217;s Decree: Girl, Forgotten switches back and forth between the point-of-view of a long-murdered girl, Emily, and the modern day perspective of a brand new US Marshal trying to solve her cold case.
