I thought <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ELGvWe\">Forbidden<\/a> was very well written and I found minimal grammar or spelling issues, the plot was interesting, and the world building was intriguing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But, I found <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ELGvWe\">Forbidden<\/a> to be a very long read. The story felt like it dragged on and much of it could be omitted. I often felt like the same topic was rehashed over and over, without any story development or character growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the characters, I grew weary of Josie. I couldn\u2019t relate to her; she was always crying. CRYING! Even assuming some of this was Omega hormones, it was a lot for me. I had hoped for some personal growth, yet she seems stuck in place, unwilling to go to therapy or work on herself. Josie was like an emotional vampire\u2014&nbsp;taking all the emotional support from her alphas, yet giving nothing back.&nbsp;Her alphas were too perfect, with essentially no flaws. I did love their quirks: romance novel reading, baking, knitting; it was a wonderful change from the typical alphas you see in other omegaverse novels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, I think <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ELGvWe\">Forbidden<\/a> had great potential, but needed some improvement upon execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Book:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ELGvWe\">Forbidden: Part One<\/a> by Emilia Emerson<br><strong>Series:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/series\/365322-luna-sol-omegaverse\">A Luna &amp; Sol Omegaverse #1<\/a><br><strong>Genre:<\/strong> Contemporary<br><strong>Hotness:<\/strong> medium salsa<br><strong>Plot Devices\/Tropes:<\/strong> omegaverse<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Queen B&#8217;s Decree: I had a mix of feelings regarding Forbidden: Part One.
